Hi, friends! I’m Sydney, Founder of Frendley - formerly known as the Digital Acceleration Academy.
Who the heck am I?
An entrepreneur. CEO of an awesome marketing agency. Owner of an adorable, high maintenance dog, Theodore that loves to wake me up at 5 am to play. A risk taker that moved to Miami from Chicago at 20 years old alone.
My weakness? Chocolate.
I started Frendley alongside my Boyfriend, Pedro with the mission of helping people to build real relationships. Relationships and communication are dwindling as social media evolves. As experts in the marketing field, we believe that this is negatively affecting the success of marketing for business owners. Our goal is to help business owners to build meaningful relationships through community that provides long term success.
In this world of instant gratification, lack of trust (not really knowing who anyone is) and credibility, a community gives people a way to get to know you… and a way for you to get to know them.
At my Grandfather’s retirement party in 2018, Pedro and I sat in his office and created our Facebook Group, Social Salad Society on a whim. It was a random idea without strategy. Little did we know that it would take off.
What we’ve learned over the years? There are MILLIONS of people that are active in Facebook Groups everyday, seeking connections, answers and support.
A lightbulb went off!
